Someone asked this on (I think) Fugelsang's show this afternoon. Tried to muddle through the implications of such a course and ended up all muddled.
Could it happen and what would it look like?

No other country can touch us, so it would never happen. They couldn't even get a resolution for an objection through the UN because we are a permanent member.
The US doesn't rely on their banking systems.
We aren't dependent on them for imported goods.
They have no means to challenge on militarily.
We don't purchase all our vehicles from them.
We would not submit to UN inspections.
etc., etc.

Iran has already said that they will continue as agreed.
Its like the Paris Climate Accord. Everybody continues as normal and the US is on the outside.
