Ex-CIA chief John Brennan goes off on Trump's Iran moves: This is 'madness'
Former CIA Director John Brennan on Tuesday slammed President Trump for his decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Iran nuclear agreement, calling the move a "threat to national security."
Brennan, an Obama Cabinet official who has vocally criticized Trump, argued in a tweet that his Iran decision would weaken Trump's hand in pushing to curb North Korea's nuclear program this year.
"Today, Donald Trump simultaneously lied about the Iranian nuclear deal, undermined global confidence in US commitments, alienated our closest allies, strengthened Iranian hawks, & gave North Korea more reason to keep its nukes," Brennan tweeted.
"This madness is a danger to our national security," he added.

what this IQ45 disaster has done to ourselves, citizens of these United States - hoping and planning to have a comfortable life in a wonderful country - and we know how our hopes and dreams have been shattered by the actions of this administration.
While it is good to keep all of those with hope and faith in mind, how about considering what those wonderful, brilliant, brave, and dedicated people who have served their country for the past 8 years have to endure as IQ45 works to destroy every advancement that had been made for the betterment of our society - trying to make our world a better and safer place in which to live - only to have it all thrown out because of a simple-minded idiot who cannot stand the thought that another person (and one of "color," too) had done so much to advance the righteous goals of a free and open America and had made the United States of America a "shining beacon on the hill" - a place where EVERY PERSON would be respected and proud to be here.
I ache for people like John Brennan, Joe Biden, and, of course, PRESIDENT Barack Obama. How it must hurt to see that damage that this idiot is inflicting upon us all.
