In 2013 Avenatti formed a company to buy Seattle-based Tully's Coffee out of bankruptcy. Avenatti first formed a partnership with actor Patrick Dempsey, but Dempsey later backed away from the venture.

....because Avenatti didn't disclose to Dempsey that he had used borrowed money as part of his principal contribution. Tully's then ran into financial issues and tax problems, but apparently was sponsoring the race team.

He's being sued by Keurig as well.

Dempsey didn't just "back away", he sued Avenatti over it. Avenatti had formed Global Baristas as the management company for Tully's.

https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/before-stormy-daniels-her-attorney-faced-allegations-of-dubious-business-dealings/

Global Baristas’ purchase of the Tully’s chain drew controversy from the start. In August 2013, less than two months after the deal closed, Avenatti’s business partner sued him, claiming misrepresentation.

That partner, actor Patrick Dempsey of TV’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” contended in his suit Avenatti told him Global Baristas had enough money to operate the more than 40 Tully’s stores. But Dempsey, the suit claims, soon discovered Avenatti secretly had taken out a $2 million loan with an exorbitant 15 percent interest rate, pledging all Tully’s assets as security, the suit claimed. Avenatti quickly settled, and Dempsey walked away from the venture.

...

As of last week, more than $1 million of court-filed warrants for unpaid state taxes remained unresolved. The IRS also filed liens in July and August against Global Baristas and Avenatti for more than $5 million in unpaid taxes dating back to 2015. No releases have since been filed showing that debt was paid.

http://www.seattleweekly.com/news/stormy-days-for-tullys-coffee/

Almost all the claims filed in U.S. and King County courts involve unpaid rent, fees, or state taxes (estimated at $5 million, which Tully’s denies). At the Exchange Building, where a Tully’s stand had operated for 17 years, Global Baristas failed to respond to a lawsuit from their landlord and was hit with a $40,000 default judgment.

One might Google what has been going on in the House of Saud lately. Salman is cleaning house.

Given that Salman locked up a good chunk of the family, it's important for any member of the House of Saud to know where they stand with him.

Those arrested, detained, or removed from their posts include, but are not limited to:
Princes

Detained

Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, billionaire businessman[17] (Released 27 January 2018, according to Agence France-Presse[18])
Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, former deputy defense minister[19]
Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah, former head of Saudi Arabian National Guard and son of former King Abdullah.[20] He is seen as the most powerful of those arrested.[4]
Prince Turki bin Abdullah, former governor of Riyadh Province[21]
Prince Turki bin Nasser Al Saud, former head of the presidency of meteorology and environment[22]

Uncertain status

The fate of Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd, youngest son of King Fahd, is uncertain. There were rumors that Abdul Aziz, age 44, was killed while resisting arrest, but the Saudi information ministry released a statement saying that the prince was "alive and well."[23]
