Did he advertise his services? Did he go to the firms and say he can give them access to the Trump WH? These firms had to know that Cohen was close to Trump and that is what caused them to pay up to get to Trump.

(45,035 posts)He clearly lied to the judge when he said he only had three clients - Trump, Hannity and that other guy who stands-in for Trump for sex payoffs. No mention of AT&T, Novartis, the Korean co or Russian crooks. I wonder if that judge will take action. He lied to her face.

Whatever is actually going on with these payments to him, he's not doing legal work for these companies based upon their own statements.
