Donald Trump capitalized on widespread bigotry in America and promised to undo anything Obama did. By default that looked like a good plan to the tens of millions who agreed with Trump and thought Obama wasn't capable of doing anything right. That was the goal. There never was any thought of making anything better. It was only ever about undoing anything Obama did. Look at Healthcare. There never was a plan B. The only goal was to get rid of it. Trump's most loyal followers don't care if there isn't an alternative put in place.
