Comfortable & capable in her surrondings, fully staffed Cabinet, respected around the world, well except for Vlad..she's no doubt busy reversing Trump's ex orders & putting dictators & nazis back in their tiny boxes.

THIS is who America elected.
Imagine the size of her Inaugural crowd!!

And that’s why I couldn’t resist posting it....

Sad to think of what we not only had, but could/should have now.

It was when I went from being poor to being middle class. Job opportunities opened up, and my salary increased by (as I figured it) 750% between 1993 and 2000 (I was making very little before that, to be clear). I liked the shopping, the movies, the music. People seemed happy. Crime rates went down.

Ever since the 2000 selection, I've felt stressed. Pay raises are pretty stagnant (we even had a pay freeze during the Great Recession). As far as I was concerned, he could have stayed President forever (and he wasn't even in my top half of choices for the Democratic primaries in 1992!) And I think Hillary would have been even better.

I was in high school at the time. My father went from being an underpaid, largely unappreciated professor in the middle of nowhere, to a well-paid engineer in Southern California. My folks were doing quite well for themselves.

Then came Dubya. That debacle, as you know, ruined many a hope and aspiration.

Obama did his best to pull the country out of the rut; but thanks to Mitch McCocaine and the rest of them (plus the severity of the crash itself), it's still a work in progress.

His grace under pressure was astonishing. I don't know how he did it.

with new opportunities. Huge consumer confidence, just all around a positive time.

I realize that Bill C was criticized for a couple of his decisions that were contrary. But I always understood him to be the one who wanted to prove the Democrats were really the fiscally responsible party and he was stern about balancing the budget and stuck to that. He was one of the only Presidents who left office with a surplus -- which he would have handed off to Al Gore, a man decades ahead of his time on climate change and....well, you know what I'm talking about.

SIGH. Instead we gave the surplus to Bush and his war agenda because of the divisiveness about Democrats. At some point, there will be no coming back from these mistakes. The GOP will be happy to have you jobless so they can foreclose on your house. Etc., etc.

There are lots of reasons for the disaster of 2016, but I'm still mad as hell at the FUCKING BRAIN-DEAD ASSHOLES who call themselves "progressives" who couldn't, just couldn't, my conscience, my integrity, I didn't get what I wanted, me me me me me, vote for one of the most qualified people ever to run for president of the United States.

Oh yeah, her emails. And she's a woman. And she didn't leave Bill like she should have. And, and, and, followed by another string of shitty "reasons."
