I could cry, every damn thing the Rs have done to us in WI is being done now nationally...

Ari just showed a clip of Maxine yelling "I will not yield my time"...we have watched for over 8 years now, our good strong DEMs being disrespected, ridiculed, slandered and discounted by the Rs….We truly were the petri dish for this....and it makes me cry that everyone must go thru what we have. WE ARE ALL WISCONSIN NOW. And I am so sorry.

They did it on a handful of states, WI, KS, LA, & then took the predatory road show national. If the dems don't gain control of one chamber of Congress in November, I don't know if we'll come back from this & if all we get is the House, it may not matter. McConnell recently bragged that he's making "generational changes" to the judiciary. Today Grassley called on a (presumably leftist) SCOTUS to resign so Trump could get one more beyond-right-field nomination in. These are men who have deluded themselves into believing they are superior to everyone else, yet they have to lie & cheat to gain & keep any kind of power. Bunch of fucking hypocrites. Just reading the headlines makes my blood pressure go up.

Our voter id law was actually worst than the Wisconsin law but luckily we had Chad Dunn and some good lawyer who got our law largely gutted.

I feel for you.

The Clinton Victory Counsel program asked me to go to Wisconsin in 2016 but I was busy running voter protection efforts here in Texas.

The Republicans bought a majority in the state Supreme Court even before Walker was elected. The WI Supreme Court ruled that Citizen's United allows political campaigns to coordinate political advertising with Issue Advocacy groups (which can accept unlimited dark money) after Walker's campaign got caught doing it. This was the crux of the John Doe 2 investigation.

The Bradly Foundation, one of the major sponsor of the state's Republican think tanks and talk radio, got hacked and there was a treasure trove of information on how they think. They even had an Enemies list.

a lot of inspired progressives. We were there when the Koch's buses full of Teabaggers tried to intimidate the real patriots. We were evicted from the Capitol rotunda by state police. We laughed at the signs which read "If you fuck us we multiply!"

We can do this. We outnumber them and we are smarter than they are. The only way we lose is if we quit.

"On Wisconsin!"
