The strongest parts of our national economy are financial, tech, education. Two of those industries DEPEND on immigration.

And moreover, America is a country of immigrants. That’s why we can get smart people to move here. Japan can set up all the visas they want to get Nobel Prize winners to immigrate there. But they won’t succeed. Because Japan doesn’t have a lot of immigrants so it’s hard for them to make immigrants feel comfortable.

So a big reason Silicon Valley and America’s world beating university system exist is because of ALL immigrants. High skilled and low skilled immigrants.
