Yeah, he was apparently impressive with the Shepherd trial and did get Patty Hearst off, but...

Belli, the "king of torts"...

No, I think Avenatti is much better than that in many ways. Maybe our current day, Clarence Darrow.

My trial lawyer pops locked horns with him twice and prevailed both times. Belli was better trying his cases in the press than in the courtroom. That's a fact, Jack.
