All 10 games are scheduled at the same time and NBC uses all of their networks to broadcast them.

A couple hours without the same things being said over and over and over and over on a Sunday morning.

MSNBC has covered sports before and ran Olympics and other events as part of their overall ownership by NBC.

Take it as a great opportunity to get away from the news for a bit. I saw some angry tweets about it and was like, if this is making you angry, you need to reevaluate things a bit.

Just flip it over and ask yourself how happy you would be if you were paying for ESPN or Fox Sports and when you went to the channel there was nothing but a political debate.

Never anything but. Especially on the weekends.

You may just not be seeing the furor as someone else mentioned it on Twitter. There's actual anger.

It's like when your cable goes down for ten minutes and you have people demanding that they're credited for it on their bill. It's an overreaction.

The contract with NBC says every Premier League game is to be shown live. There are nine such games being played today, and because it's the final week of the season, all are being played at the same time. That means NBC has to pre-empt everything on nine channels for roughly two hours to broadcast all these games. It's halftime now, so it will be over in less than an hour.

Man. City won it weeks ago; the only question for them is whether they'll break a record or 2 more. There's one question about which teams qualify for which European competition, and a mathematical chance that one team currently in a relegation position could get out of that.

If it's not a legally binding contract, this really would be a weekend to talk about politics rather than soccer.
