Worth reading about trump voters

not because it has any insight into trump voters....but because it makes it clear that people like DUers have a responsibility to change minds.

Party leadership can't do....only individuals in their personal interactions can do it.

I big and thankful call out to louis c who wrote about his efforts

Within a red rural district in a blue state?

It's well written but it won't work. . . at all.

We have to get as many minorities as we can to the polls June 5th and in November.

That's how we flip our Mayor and two Council people blue -

That's how we flip the 7th. Think outside of black/white - and but DO include the black folks who are disenchanted with America, the Americans of Indian, Asian, Middle Eastern descent. Go after the Libertarians.

The Trump Republicans can't be won - and in an election year where so much is at stake the lowest hanging fruit is by far not the Trump Republican - they are at the ladder begging 'big daddy' for a way around the new 'workfare' just because they are white and rural.

They don't give a fuck about non white folks outside of their 'narrow circle' who are high earners and are RESENTFUL of the idea that people like that are going to get to sit around and take our money while we work - and minorities in the inner cities will have to work.

Fuck them.

All the Trumpsters out here drive Porches. They are willfully ignorant.

DUers' responsibility is no different...but we ought to be more willing than most to put our money where our goddamned big mouths are.

Try to reach some people, even if it's often futile, even if they say you're only going to make them dig in harder. Try to show them what's best. Piss 'em off some if you think it'll be helpful, ignore them when you have to, but consider not giving up on all the voters on the other side.

We only need to peel off a few, and Trump is doing a lot of that already.

Lines and dots. I work all day trying to inculcate critical thinking skills in my students. Then they go home and watch Fox News to clear their contaminated minds.
