PrizeoA NOTE FROM LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA
Taking Hamilton to our nations capital will be an incredibly special moment. DC was an important part of these characters lives and the work they did there set the governing standards that continue to this day. From the very beginning, we have been defending the virtues of representative government and the right to vote. Voting is our most important civic duty. Generations of Americans have sacrificed their lives not only to protect that right to vote, but to ensure its expansion to everyone of legal age regardless of race, gender or religion. Now, it is our responsibility to make sure that everyone who should be able to vote is able to vote. Through this campaign, we are supporting four incredible organizations that spend every waking minute educating voters, eliminating barriers to vote, and getting people to the polls, not just for national elections, but for crucial state and local elections as well. Your vote is always important. We have to show up for each other so the system put in place by the founding fathers continues to work.
When you give $10, you will be entered to win a trip for you and a friend to come to Washington DC (travel and hotel for 2 nights are on us) and see Hamilton with me. But wait! Theres more! You will spend the day at a top secret backstage experience that NO ONE will ever get to see in person but you. Its so secret that I cant even tell you about it and will only happen this spring in DC. What I can tell you is that you will have proof that you were there... in the room where it happened.
So lets help #MoreofUs get to the polls for a change. Ill see one of you in DC!
Siempre,
Lin-Manuel

About the Latino Victory Project
The Latino Victory Project is an effort to build political power within the Latino community to ensure that the voices and values of Latinos are reflected at every level of government - from the school board to the Senate to the White House - and in the policies that drive our nation forward. We accomplish this by advancing three core tactics: by developing and supporting Latino leaders for office; empowering Latino voters through increased political participation; and developing a pipeline of Latino donors and allies to invest in these efforts. By closing the civic and leadership gap, we can help change the face of our country's politics and position our nation for positive long-term policy change.

About Let America Vote
Politicians across the country are pushing extreme voter-suppression laws that block access to the ballot based on voters race or ethnicity, gender, age or income. If we dont fight back, more and more Americans will become disenfranchised. Thats where Let America Vote comes in.
Jason Kander started Let America Vote to resist proposals across the country that make it harder for eligible voters to exercise their constitutional rights and create political consequences for the politicians who support them. Were a boots-on-the-ground organization committed to knocking doors and making phone calls to elect voting-rights champions and win the argument against voter suppression.
In 2017, we knocked almost 200,000 doors in Virginia, helping flip seven legislative seats and elect a governor committed to protecting voting rights. Weve opened offices in five states to keep up the fight in 2018. If politicians want to make it harder for us vote, were going to make it harder for them to keep their jobs.

That is a nice prize for a minimal amount to a good cause.
I am currently obsessed with Hamilton. It really is an amazing piece of art. For one man to be responsible for concept, lyrics, music and performance is simply unbelievable. Miranda is an American treasure.
I have tickets for December in South Florida but would love to go to DC to see it first.
