I am among those who sometimes feel emotionally depleted by the 24/7 "breaking news"

about another and another and yet another Trumpian outrage. We would not be human if, in our weariness, we did not occasionally wonder if we shouldn't just shut up, stop being so "damned political" and "go with the flow". But,---we will not do that. We care too much about our families, our friends, our country and mankind.

We will not shut up. We will not "go along to get along". We will not pretend to respect politicians who we know do not deserve respect.

We will support each other even when we disagree about methods and policies because we know we agree on our goals. We will vote in every primary, unite behind OUR candidate and vote in every election. We will not just "talk the talk"; we will , "walk the walk" by contributing our money, our time, our talent and our enthusiastic endorsement of OUR candidates as our abilities and circumstances permit.

We will prevail because we are right and our cause is just. We just have to get back up one more time than we're knocked down.

"Endeavor to persevere!"

I am also going to work to GOTV, donate, anything I can to help end this nightmare. But I too am getting weary of the endless outrages, public corruption and law-breaking, spineless repugs, bigotry, angry old white guys, and on and on. I always shook my head at those who said they were going to leave the country if such and such happened. But if the Dems don't win at least one house of Congress this November I don't know that I can take it anymore; I think our democracy will be done with two more hears of this. I may live out my remaining years in Mexico.

I have no TV, only a dumb phone, and I learn about important stuff in a sufficiently timely manner, believe me. And I'm not caught in the trap of watching some story for hours on end when nothing new is reported.
