I seem to recall that some of the other oil exporters may want non-dollar payments and the like, in the past. I think everyone's getting tired of the dollar constantly going down in value, especially w/ RUMP in power, it's gone down 10% plus or minus in value since RUMP's election, which is one reason why everything seems to cost more. MAGA!

If you are selling oil, you can demand it be paid in whatever currency your heart desires. Tradition has oil sales done in dollars, but there is no ironclad rule anywhere that demands it. It helps us because it keeps demand for dollars on the world currency markets high, and there is a serious storm brewing in Italy with some of their major banks at the moment that is making holders of Euros understandably nervous right now. It could all change, of course.
