that they we would follow the Libyan model in regard to NK.
Libya disarmed, and then killed Gaddafi
why the concern Kim?

(25,111 posts)"double cross" has true meaning. Both governments are insane. Which is more, I would say NK.

(58,785 posts)to want security for himself, his family and his regime and respect and power for his country. That's not crazy. He's a bad leader, but he's done a bit to advance NK so far. SK's an outstanding example of a successful advanced nation right next door.
As for his current behavior, very predictable, which no one can say about us these days. The deal with Trump was stacked nonsense in which he gained some of what he wished and gave up nothing, and entering agreements at summits, benefiting from big concessions, and then withdrawing from the agreements is an old pattern.
Trump should take notes. He dishonorably withdraws from agreements also but comes out with only big losses.

(58,785 posts)all his nuclear capacity, far beyond the deal 6 major nations and the EU made with Iran. So much for power, or any viability for this deal.
And neither Kim nor those around him could have been fooled for a minute that this buffoon's fulsome compliments were backed by respect. They used the fool we sent them for their purposes.
As for Alaska, for heaven's sake delete that idea, please! It couldn't get back to Trump, surely, but! Both Russia and China are playing this idiot for all they can get also.

(6,709 posts)Kim is not insane. He is very methodically consolidating and securing his position in NK and now on the world stage. tRump meanwhile has blundered into every trap.
