A movement to stop fox news

If we can think outside the box, and come up up with a brilliant method to stop fox news we can survive. If not, we will continue fighting a steep uphill battle, imo. I am actually seeing more and more businesses running fox news 24/7. HOW CAN WE RUIN FAUX? Can a so called news Station be investigated?

2. Journalism Education

"When people talk about the future of learning, they often mention technology and engineering. Things like Sphero balls and Arduino sets and coding projects. While I love the emphasis on STEM and STEAM, I can’t help but wonder if maybe we miss out on the power of journalism because it isn’t shiny and new.

"However, if you ask people what type of technology skills students will need in the future, you’ll hear things like digital citizenship, media literacy, and creative thinking. Unfortunately, schools tend to teach these topics in isolation, as if they exist in separate little buckets.

"But journalism takes the buckets and mixes them all together. Here, these ideas overlap constantly.

"Journalism integrates digital citizenship, media literacy, and creativity in a connective and authentic way. Instead of teaching mini-lessons on these topics, students discover these ideas as they engage in inquiry, research, content creation, and publishing."

Murdoch will probably live to 110. His sons seem (at least from the limited things I admittedly have read) to be more reasonable. Faux News is a cancer on our democracy and it has to be neutralized in some way. My suggestion is to find people who could influence his sons for the day they take over. Of course the world could be an ash heap by then.

I've posted this before. It will take a few benevolent billionaires who see the damage Fox has done and its mortal threat to Democracy.

Buy Comcast,Charter,Cox and AT&T and remove Fox News from their offerings. Not renewing Fox's contract wouldn't be a free speech issue, it would be a business decision.

If honorable billionaires like Buffet,Bloomberg,Steyer and Soros choked off the distribution channels of the propaganda, democracy might have a fighting chance.

The right wing believes and encourages monopolies so they should have no problem with this.

Ralph Nader may be a pain in the ass at times but he was right when he said "only the super rich can save us."

We need to stop with the learned helplessness.

Like for example when Fox News said low gas prices under Obama was actually a bad thing (Really) and we make it more common knowledge. We ask when are they going to say cheap gas under Trump is bad?

We need to focus on a variety of small easy-to-do things that everyone can possibly do any and every day of the year. Not just one thing and then we give up.

Hoping you and others sign up.
