I kept hearing on various news channels that Melania had been admitted to the hospital for some kidney issue and that she was going to be there all week. There was a lot of speculation on why it would keep her there all week. All the TV docs said that it was probably out of an "abundance of caution" because she was the First Lady (though nobody asked Ivana's opinion of that)

The one reason that nobody mentioned was that her health wasn't subject to some health insurer restricting her stay to 2 days!

She could have round the clock care in the White House if she were still living there, but at her folk's place it'd be harder to explain the presence of nurses and doctors.

I doubt heavily that there was a kidney issue.
