Will almost no athletes from public school sports programs win any gold medals, despite how public schools spend more than $500 billion annually to teach and train Americans?

That'd be Michael Phelps.

Phelps graduated from Towson High School in 2003.

Other notable graduates of Towson High, part of the Baltimore County Public Schools, include actor Divine, Spiro Agnew's daughter Pam, and my mom.
