(7,522 posts)They'd be remiss if they didn't include Fey's Palin somewhere.
Perhaps Fey can skewer Dana Loesch.

(7,522 posts)Sopranos opening was great. Kate McKinnon can do anything. When she put her gnarled hand on her forehead as Giuliani...
They nailed the Royal Wedding outfits somehow, and the impressions might have been a little mean, but overall a really good sketch with Prince William dancing, Queen Elizabeth's wide-eyed but accepting glare, Kate "hitting it hard" cause she's been pregnant for so long, then the contrast of the "American" room - Leslie Jones plays herself which is always great.
Then the Joe and Mika segment was also right on. McKinnon for the steal again.
I laughed hard at "PTA Majority Whip" and all of Kenans "...in all seriousness the booty is good" cut-ins. I think Heidi rocks every segment she's in, and the sketch ended on a surprisingly happy note. "OH THIS SONG IS FUN! THIS IS ALL I WANTED!"
Nice promo for MEAN GIRLS and Fey is so game as a comedian lampooning herself. "...for the week I'm in the show!" "We agreed to one matinee." "nnrr..." "And then when I take the head off and reveal it's me!" "Yeah, or even if you don't..."
Fey indeed did do Palin and they went full-Broadway - how much does the SNL band rock? "What I Did For Love" was an energy-killer out of context of the show, but the concept was sound - Again, Kate as Kellyann fluttering down on wires was funny and the characters were great even if they only each got one note. Stormy: "What I did with Truuuuump" Palin: "I would work for Truuuuuump!"
