Donald Trump's family real estate business has added a second Palm Beach mansion to its holdings, spending $18.5 million on a beachfront house owned by the president's older sister.
The manse is across the street from Mar-a-Lago – and even closer to the ocean.
A source close to the Trump Organization confirmed the purchase and said the home was listed for $23.9 million: Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. got it from their aunt, Maryanne Trump Barry, at a $5.4 million discount.
The manor features eight bedrooms, 9.5 baths and nearly 200 feet of beachfront.

Only a few dozen houses in Palm Beach are actually on the water. The property at 1125 South Ocean Boulevard also hugs the perimeter of the Trump family's private club, making it a quasi-extension of the sprawling resort.
That means the Trump empire's new digs are close enough to where the president lays his head on many winter weekends to smell the Secret Service agents' aftershave.
It's not clear what the property will be used for, however. a Trump Organization source said it could become an exclusive Mar-a-Lago amenity, rented out to a prominent club member. ..............................................
