The witnesses are likely to be GOP: Stone, Stone’s lackeys and former lackeys (e.g. Nunberg), etc.

If Stone’s lackeys get asked by Mueller about obvious crimes by Stone, they’ll be able to guess that Stone will be indicted. If Don Jr etc were involved in those crimes, they’ll be able to guess Don Jr will be indicted.

The thing the witnesses DON’T know is timeline - they don’t know when the indictments will drop.

But the witnesses will be able to guess who will be indicted. Just not when.
