No bare legs
No patch back pockets on pants or skirts
No jean shirts, pants or jackets.
Only one personal object. So if your husband sent you flowers, you had to put away his picture. No pet pictures.
I think there were more strange rules.

Oh yes, also no DPO (definite panty outline).. Actually a rule !!!

I watched a BBC doc on royal chefs the other night on YouTube. He was talking about a lobster dish he served them frequently. Also, langostino lobster was on the menu at the big Royal Hoe Down after the wedding on Saturday. I think some of the confusion comes from the fact they don't eat it at restaurants or while traveling, but will eat it when it's prepared by their own chefs.

As for shell fish just do not look if you do not like it seeing me eat them.

Talk about having mommy dearest control your marriage.

So what would happen if she disobeyed? Would they be forced to get divorced?

But I doubt anything would happen to the Princesses if they disobeyed, other than Frosty Royal Court Reception and a hell of a lot of public pressure. Royalty is a thing and it probably still exists because of these archaic rules which separate them and elevates them and basically forces them into gilded slavery.

Hopefully this new generation will change many of these rules. As it is Charles already changed the rules by marrying Camilla and still keeping his titles and place in the succession. Prince William and Kate have also broken with tradition by not living in Buckinham Palace and instead having their own flat.

Change is happening and will probably be faster after Queen Elizabeth dies. That’s good, but to see the passing of such traditions will probably be very difficult for much of the population.

Hell! Look at how many Americans are eating this royal wedding tradition up!
