What will you do if Trump manages to evade law?

Looks like Muuller isn't going to indict the Fucking bastard.

Our generic advantage at the polls are dwindling, (because people are tired as shit ?) Russia and Koch brothers are geared up to fuck with our elections once more... And it's possible ( or even probable) that Republicans keep majority in both houses.

Whatever is left of the Mueller investigation will be shut down

I, for one, will not count it out. Republicans stole the Scotus seat didn't they? Did they pay a price?

They have learnt that that subverting democratic norms will be rewarded as long as they 'win'

Assuming all of the above comes to pass - what will you do? Will you let yourselves be shocked when something like the above will happen?

I am starting to prepare myself mentally that Trump is going to get away with it.

But that doesn't mean we should give up. When we win the house we should impeach if there are crimes exposed even if we know the Senate will not convict.

Let everyone involved be counted for where they stood in the history books.

Democrats cant impeach unless they have overwhelming majority in the Senate, they wont even have a one seat majority possibly.

I think enough Americans simply dont care, add them to the racist filth that supports the traitor and I think you have your answer.

HAVING said that I am going to fight until our last breath.

I am not buying the fact that he is winning over anyone but his hardcore base and is most likely losing his less fervent supporters. Congress and the media may be enabling him, but we still have the power of the vote and can still change things for the better. Never forget that.

I think it would come as a total shock to him if he were NOT to get away with something. He is Colonel Jessup from "A Few Good Men" without the erudition. "I'm being accused of a crime?" he asks with total incredulity.

should really be indictment and unreal it in 2020 or 2024 when it will actually have a chance of being used by a govt that isn't the same group that we have now. 538 had an article about what could happen if we don't get a blue wave in the midterms. It is pretty sobering.

...if Congress does not impeach and convict then its up to the final Constitutional check and balance--the voting booth. If the America people don't punish those candidates who refuse to impeach and convict then that is a reflection of ourselves.

Having said that, we cannot and should not look at the dark side as if we can’t win. England had had Churchill and we had FDR. Great minds that rose to the challenge and won in much worse times than these. History is with us. We must never give in!!!

Virtually every young person dislikes Trump. A huge wave of young people will with time vote and with time Republicans will be wiped out. Trump going to jail or note is trivial compared to affordable health care, better economic prospects for all. Trump will “win” but it will be pyrhic victory.

attack trump and GOPers on that are getting lost in the investigation.

If Mueller has any evidence -- that trump can't say he was not directly aware of it -- it needs to be reported by the summer. I don't think obstruction will get him. Russian money and stuff might get his kids and some aides, but without direct evidence, ignorant white wingers aren't going to turn on trump. And truthfully, I'm not so sure a jury will convict some of these guys. trump supporters knew exactly what he was when they voted for him, so they aren't going to care.

It's reversing the damage tRump has done that will be the problem.
