. . .saying that all the fans that are still talking, or drinking beer, or checking out the phones during the anthem should get their butts onto the concourse, if the NFL wants to impose this on the players and staff. I agree with him.

You can see it on TV. People talking, joking, taking wide shots of the crowd, drinking their beer. . .

Sure, there are people singing and/or paying attention, but a light year from all of them.

Like you said, goose/gander.
