'How's that Nobel Prize working out for ya?' Internet mocks Trump's 'break up letter' to Kim Jong Un

‘How’s that Nobel Prize working out for ya?’ Internet hilariously mocks Trump’s ‘break up letter’ to Kim Jong Un

In a letter to Kim Jong Un, President Donald Trump decided that he was pulling out of the peace talks in Singapore that could have led to the denuclearization of North Korea.

At rallies Trump supporters were chanting that he should win a Nobel Peace Prize and 18 Republican elected officials and Trump supporters even nominated him. They touted “his tireless work to bring peace to our world.”

“It’s surreal in the sense that it’s clearly premature to be talking about giving anybody a Nobel Peace Prize,” said Aaron David Miller, a former US diplomat and negotiator for GOP and Democratic administrations. Premature indeed.

The internet was quick to roll their eyes, talk about the immaturity of the letter and even mock Trump for putting his cart before his horses.

Zero discipline by this administration. They were more interested in minting commemorative coins and bragging about something that hadn't happened than actually succeeding. So they had no discipline of message and you had the VP and others talking about the "Libya Solution", which means they were talking about overthrowing Kim Jong Un and having him killed.

Amateurs and idiots!

With the prospect of nuclear war looming and possibly tens of millions of people dead, Trump pulls out of a denuclearization summit because their leader insulted Pence’s fee-fees.

Sorry to be a stick in the mud, but I’m angry. Angry that the two sides are so pathetic that they won’t even try to meet in the first place. Angry that we’re the ones that backed out over something so stupid.

This is one place where I wanted Trump to succeed. The consequences of failing are too dire. I’m afraid that, with no agreement, a devastating war is inevitable. Trump has failed us.
