Rudy Giuliani said Trump is more likely to eventually sit down with Kim Jong Un than with Robert Mueller: "At least they’re not going to try to trap him into Korean perjury.”

And there's no such thing as a perjury trap.

When under oath there are 4 possible outcomes:
1) You did nothing wrong and you tell the truth. That's called innocence, and for rich white guys it's usually enough to avoid any bad outcomes.
2) You did something wrong and you tell the truth. That's called a confession, and works best as part of a plea deal.
3) You did something wrong and you invoke the 5th Am. That's called exercising your constitutional rights, which helpfully lawyers are quite familiar with.
4) You did something wrong and you lie about it. That's called perjury. But it is no trap and is easily avoided.

There are THREE ways out which don't involve perjury, AND YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO BE INNOCENT TO USE TWO OF THEM.
