Hawaii's Kilauea volcano erupted in May 2018, creating a vast ash cloud visible from space and sending lava spewing from fissures to devastate homes. See photos of the volcano's ash and destruction from space.

Amazing to watch. The sounds are eerie. From time to time you'll hear a very loud crackling noise. I finally figured out that was rain; also, I saw the camera shake back and forth a few times: and I'm guessing those were earthquakes.
