"Can't let these go to waste"...2 dozen Snickerdoodles baked by Melania for Summit eaten by Bolton

BREAKING NEWS...NO LINK YET

WASHINGTON DC - White House sources say First Lady Melania Trump is despondent over the fact that President Trump's National Security Advisor John Bolton ate an entire platter of Snickerdoodle cookies she had baked for the now-canceled North Korea Summit with Kim Jong-Un.

Snickerdoodles are a popular cookie made with butter, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and other ingredients. The First Lady had baked two dozen of the treats for the upcoming summit, spectacularly displaying them on a white paper doily atop a sterling silver platter from the Ivanka Collection.

According to sources, a giddy Bolton passed by the cookies and quipped "Oh well, can't let these go to waste! Time to do a Libya on these little suckers!" When confronted by White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders. Bolton denied the allegations that he had eaten the First Lady's cookies. Sanders then pointed to the Snickerdoodle crumbs dusted across his controversial mustache. Bolton then muttered "BUS-ted," and asked if anyone had seen where he'd left his beer bong.

President Trump had reportedly witnessed the exchange between Bolton and Sanders, and sought to console the First Lady. "You need to lighten up, Melanie. They're only cookies, for Christ's sake. Now go to your room like a good little girl and I'll stop by later. We can watch "Shark Week" together while I eat my Quarter Pounders."

Melania Trump could not be reached for comment.

Yes, it's satire. Yes, I wrote it.

Maleria baking cookies in spike heels? Also, using a plate from Iwanka's collection? There would be a cat fight to the finish between these two. With her extended hospital stay, no photos of any of her step "kids" visiting at the hospital. These repub. "family values" are so hard to understand.

It was basically squares of coffee cake with the same ingredients as snickerdoodles.

Every time I hear "snickerdoodle," it takes me back to days of ice cream scoop servings of instant mashed potatoes, canned green beans, and some kind of meat swimming in what I believed at the time to be "gravy."
