Giuliani admits he ‘can’t be confident’ there was no Russian collusion in Trump campaign during baffling CNN interview

ppearing on CNN on Sunday morning, President Donald Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, once again may have stepped in it by conceding that there well may have been collusion between Trump’s presidential campaign staff and the Russians in 2016.

Speaking with CNN’s Dana Bash, who was filling in for State of the Union host Jake Tapper, Giuliani contradicted himself multiple times — at one time saying special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation is legitimate, then questioning whether it was. Of note was the former New York mayor’s response to whether he could say with certainty there was no collusion.

Asking about staffers still in Trump’s “orbit,” host Bash pressed, “You are confident that there is no collusion?”

“I can’t be confident,” Giuliani replied. “Am I confident because I was in that campaign at a very intimate level? Nobody talked about or knew about Russians. This came as a surprise to me and to the president. You go out to the outer orbit, how do I know what is going on? I don’t think that would matter.”

“If there is collusion with a guy 50 rungs down, if it did, I don’t know what that means,” he added.

Watch for Rudy to be snared in the Russia Gate investigations. Rudy and company were and most likely are still Lobbying for Turkey,Ukraine and other Mid Eastern Countries. Is Rudy a registered Foreign Agent? Doubt it.
