Did anyone catch MTP this morning? The start of the program

was dedicated to Trump's "weapons of mass distraction".

But we're going to also begin with President Trump, the other big story with him. His weapons of mass distraction. The president and his allies spent much of this week trying to make the case that the F.B.I. planted a spy in the Trump campaign.

While we learned there was no evidence for this charge, here's what we were not focused on while debating that charge. We weren't focused on this story, about another Trump tower meeting in 2016 between Donald Trump, Jr. and an emissary for Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, who offered to help the Trump campaign.

And then, there was this story that got overshadowed, that Donald Trump, Jr. may have lied to Congress about those new contacts. Then, there was this story that got overshadowed, that a Russian oligarch with Kremlin ties met with President Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, in Trump Tower 11 days before the presidential inauguration.

And then, there was this story, that President Trump's ally, Roger Stone, sought dirt on Hillary Clinton from WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange during the campaign. All of these potential bombshell stories could have dominated the week, but they were overshadowed as President Trump showed once again how skilled he is in shaping a false narrative to his advantage.

TRUMP LIED. Repeat every day because he lies every day.

But, few news outlets have the courage to say it. That is a disservice to our democracy and a betrayal of their duty.....

What changes, if any, will the political media make in their reporting? Will they dismiss groundless sensationalism as so much grandstanding, or will they once again go haring off every time Trump tweets "Squirrel!"

You know what he's doing; you don't have to make Trump's delusions your reporting reality.

Unless it's in their face, they may not realize how often Trump lies or how many of his accusations have no basis at all. I know that commentators can't fact check everything that comes out of his mouth, but it would be wonderful if the obvious lies would be called out.

and less on distracting BS. That is Rudy's job as chief distractor and propaganda specialist Hannity are going 100% to deceive, delay, distract and demean. The 24/7 news is chasing the $$$$/ratings as they did in the 2016 campaign and hasn't learned any lessons. We have the fucking moron and the media and news is partly responsible.

In this case, we can email them at: contact.nbcnews@nbcuni.com

Most news outlets have a "Contact" page that shows how to connect with them, including social media links.
