Slapping Denny's waitress on butt lands Central NY man with criminal charge, police say

ROME, NY - A 65-year-old man has been charged Monday with forcible touching after Rome police say he slapped a Denny's waitress on the butt as she walked away from his table.

Police say Clarence H. Locke Jr., of 405 N. Levitt St., Rome, smacked the waitress as she walked away from the table where he was sitting about noon Monday at the Denny's Restaurant on James Street in Rome.

The waitress reported it to her manager, who told the man to leave, police said.

Rome police identified the man after watching a surveillance tape that captured the slapping. Police arrested Locke about 1:30 p.m. Monday.

7. My sister was a flight attendant for a while, and she was told to just accept it and keep quiet.

When she rejected one guy, he threatened to report her if she didn't sleep with him.

A week later, she was called to corporate and interrogated because the guy did just that. She quit on the spot. The following week, the airliner crashed on takeoff, killing all onboard. While she was pissed at that man, and the airline, that guy ended up saving her life, as it was her regular flight and her coworkers had perished on it.
