9. Hulu doesn't have anything from CBS I believe
Hulu is owned by NBCUniversal, 21st Century Fox, and Walt Disney Co.'s ABC — longtime rivals of CBS. ... Episodes of CBS shows, such as "NCIS," "Mom" or "The Big Bang Theory," still will not be offered through Hulu

23. It brought back so many memories
I had forgotten about the secretary gag and all that. I wish the show could get streamed or even a DVD release but the music rights are just nuts for it.

8. Bergen has some exceptionally funny scenes in the new Book Club movie.
The movie also stars Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen and their male love interests. The women are the stars of the film and deservedly so as all of them are terrific in it.

13. She once dated Trump... and thought he was good looking and a douche
Candice Bergen Recalls Date With Donald Trump in College
By Us Weekly Staff 3 minutes Candice Bergen appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen wearing a “Free Melania [Trump]” sweater, and it turns out the actress, 71, is speaking from some experience. During the Wednesday, September 13, episode, the actress recalled going on a date with Donald Trump when she was in college. “He was wearing a three-piece burgundy suit and burgundy patent leather loafers,” she told Cohen and former Sweet Home Alabama costar Reese Witherspoon, who was also making an appearance on the show. “And in a burgundy limousine.” Their time together, Bergen explained, was brief. “I was home very early,” she said. “There was no physical contact whatsoever.” The Boston Legal alum added: “He was a good looking guy — and a douche.” Cohen quipped: “She wears this ‘Free Melania’ sweater with some authority here!” Bergen also opened up about the date during the Thursday, September 14, episode of Harry. “I was 18. He was a nice looking guy, I mean, he was. I was in college, and it’s where he was going to be going to college… It was like a blind date,” she recalled to host Harry Connick Jr. “He called me in the dorm, and I was bored.” She added: “It was very color coordinated and I was home by nine.” Since Trump’s January inauguration as president, other stars have shared their stories of interacting with him in the past. Salma Hayek recently opened up about being asked out by Trump years ago after he befriended her and her then-boyfriend at an event. “The whole time, he’s talking to my boyfriend…and then he’s like, ‘If you guys are ever in New York, you can come to Atlantic City, you can stay in my hotel. Give me your number, give me your number,’” the actress said on the The Daily Show With Trevor Noah in June. Shortly after, Hayek says Trump gave her a call to ask her out. “He’s inviting me out, and I’m like, ‘What about my boyfriend? Am I crazy? Are you asking me out? You know I have a boyfriend,'” she said before claiming that Trump responded, “He’s not good enough for you. He’s not important, he’s not big enough for you. You have to go out with me.” Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen airs on Bravo Sunday through Thursday at 11 p.m. EST. |

Robert Pastorelli who played my favorite character Eldon. Died in 2004. Imagine the murals he would do with trump.

He died of a drug overdose and so did the actor who originally played Mark, Becky's husband on Roseanne. Eldin was so funny!

17. Nothing at all against her, but I'm tired of the sitcom revival at this point.
There has to be better original material that we don't need to bring back long dead sitcoms from decades ago.

Same with music. (distinction lacking relevant difference to be issued below) |

21. Plays are relevantly different.
The playwright writes his or her material without regard to the actors playing the characters. Thus the very nature of the work is intended to be performed by different actors and different companies throughout the ages.
Also, plays--unlike television series--are a one-off production. While the qualities of covers varies greatly (some are great, others are ghastly), music can be replicated by different artists and different styles. Bringing back long gone sitcoms for the sake of nostalgia just strikes me as laziness, along with unnecessary cash-in sequels to movies that should have been kept as stand-alone productions. |

26. Excellent turn of events
Waiting to see what this new show is like. I watched the original back in the early 90's and liked it a lot. Candice Bergen stands in line right next to Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, and Mary Tyler Moore. These women have provided a huge amount of entertainment for millions. In addition to paving the way for all women who followed them.
