(22,037 posts)That is the most damning thing I've ever heard or read about a U.S. president in my lifetime and I was born during Eisenhower's presidency.

(7,632 posts)their mantra. All Dem legislators should blast this 27/7 during all media encounters.
We need to pound this into the American consciousness repeatedly like Trump does with "witch hunt".

(51,590 posts)in every way, from every political position, and from all media all the time! This needs to be the "breaking news" headliner every single minute from the internet to prime time. Every time the fucking moron and his GOP spawn does or says anything, we need to jump all over it and not let go until a newer illegal action surfaces to take its place.

(37,648 posts)I'm not going to get into a back and forth with a Trumper, but when I run across a tweet or post by a Trumper (we all know what kind of posts that would be), I don't let it pass. It falls on deaf ears, probably, but I don't let it pass.
Today in a government official group, in response to a post by him, someone posted something about not voting for him since he's not fully backing Trump the King (okay, she didn't exactly call him King), and is trying to oust him (the politician is a Trump supportng Republican...go figure). I didn't let that pass, and responded sort of what Schumer's tweet says (thanks, Chuck, for giving us the stats!)...19 indictments, 5 guilty pleas, over 75 incidents of communications and meetings with Russians, etc.
We have few opportunities to speak truth to Trumpers, since they exclusively watch Fox. So we need to put out some truth, whenever we can. With facts.

(37,648 posts)Schumer, being used to more civil discourse and respectful disagreements, can be a little too soft, IMO, in his responses to outrageous behavior. But this tweet is much stronger and uses plain language, not mincing words. Good for him.
We need to speak plainly about what's going on in this administration.

(2,541 posts)Now keep it up. I totally agree with what Jim Carrey said over the weekend. Dems need to stop being nice and get mad. Start pushing back hard against all the lies and BS trump spews daily. Enough already.
