McCain should have threatened to take Palin off the ticket if she didn't stop the racist shit she pulled at the rallies. When they didn't, the media should have shamed them both. Yes, the racists were already there, but Palin & the GOP/media silence on her racist rhetoric emboldened them. And now, here we are.
