3. This comparison of blacks to apes or other animals...

dates far back. This is not regular insulting someone over appearance.

Hitler did the same, when comparing Jews to rats.

It's a dehumanization thing. A black woman I saw on MJ said it best...it's to send codespeak to the public that we should have a (President or whatever) that is at least HUMAN.

There's also all sorts of other implications about this particular comparison, like animal-like, low intelligence, living in jungles, etc. It's intentional and is NOT the same as making fun of someone's double chin, or Trump's hair.

Conservatives talk this way among themselves and in their forums, and forget that this is not normal or acceptable in the real world with decent people, or in this country.
