I've heard him say that his office is swamped with tips and information from people who want to share and give him leads. So here, in his tweet, he's acknowledging that "patriots" are "assisting". This is terrific news.
It appears to me that someone, somehow got these tapes to him. So now we can speculate whether there's incriminating evidence on them or not.

Interesting, history-making (also frightening ) times we're living in folks!

He said the threats that he and Stormy get are beyond belief and he takes them VERY seriously.

He also said that there are two very believable women (that he's thoroughly vetted) that had sex and similar contracts with trump that have contacted him. One is scared to death and refuses to come forward and the other is "on the fence".
I can understand that. These are some very dangerous people capable of dangerous things involved with trump.

some here even whine about that. He is appreciated womewhat for enlarging and deepening the 'debate'. Less appreciated is how he takes left pressure to rush the investigation [used by the cons against Mueller] off of Mueller by providing dems with daily raw meat , to alleviate their 'needs', [and offset the daily trump bs deluge hogging the media spotlight]. Also, he provides law based, hard edged, pithy, penetrating, useful remarks, [which help counter soft media commentary like, 'President Trump sometimes pushes on ethical limits, etc. etc.']

This may not be a popular point of view here but:

First, it is hardly surprising that the search of Cohen's office would result in the seizure of recordings of phone conversations (or voicemail messages) from Trump. Trump and Cohen have had a long relationship and it would be far more surprising if there weren't recorded conversations. Many people now have voicemail technology that converts the message to a voice file and sends it to an email address; it wouldn't be surprising if Cohen had such a set up and had emails with voicemail messages on his computers. What matters is the substance of those messages/conversations.

Second, Avenatti hasn't said much about the substance of those conversations. It could be that he's holding back. It also could be that he doesn't know. And a third possibility is that he knows and the substance isn't particularly revealing of anything sinister.

Third, I have my doubts as to Avenatti's claims that he's getting a lot of information from "patriots" -- the number of folks with specific information about what was seized from Cohen's office is limited and I don't think they'd have much interest in taking the risk of communicating with Avenatti.

Eventually we will know. For the time being, I'm less excited by what Avenatti is dishing out than others seem to be.
