Reading this morning that Trump did not fire Comey over the Russia thing made me realize that in a court of law, if someone needed Trump to provide testimony as a witness, they would be in a pickle. With all the trail of contradictory statements, easily accessible and easy to confirm, one can only reach the conclusion that no one who needs him to testify in court would feel comfortable. because Trump would easily be deemed an unreliable witness.
Think about that. In the past the office of President was once determine to be the one factor that would tip the scales in favor of a person's veracity. Okay, President Clinton may have lied about a private matter, but he has tons of people who would vouch for him on matters outside of this private matter. But, anyone who tries to step up to defend Trump at this juncture would themselves have their judgement questioned.
Crazy to think that we have a president that no one would want on that witness stand on their behalf. Because his credibility is impeachable. And so is his presidency.
