A caller to the Rush Limbaugh asked why they didn't warn Trump of possible Russian interference...

...when they informed him that there was a dossier with a lot of pornographic material about him?

Rush congratulated him for his great question and pretended not to know that they did inform Trump of Russian intentions to mess with our elections. I cannot believe that Limbaugh is that misinformed??

Or perhaps it doesn't fit with his propaganda narrative of the day?

Is it any wonder these talk radio and FOX News listeners are so ignorant of the facts?

1. I'm sure Limbaugh knew, but he was playing to his audience.

He was interviewed back in the 90s and was asked if he actually believes all the stuff he said. He said something along the lines of "Well, that's for you to decide."

I don't think he actually believes most of what he says, but he knows he has a far-right audience, so he plays to them.

6. SOP on right wing radio. Allow idiotic remarks that support your ideology to go unchallenged.

A number of years ago (during the Clinton administration) I briefly turned on the local right wing station. The host, who advertised himself as a Constitutional scholar, was taking calls. Some yahoo called in and said, "There ain't no Constitutional provision that makes the pres'dent commander-in-chief. The libruls just made that up."

I'm yelling "Article II, Section 2, Clause 1" at the radio. The "Constitutional scholar" just thanked him for his call, never correcting him.

At one time on Conservative radio it was common for callers to blame Ruby Ridge on Bill Clinton, even though Poppy Bush was President at the time. The hosts would never correct the callers.

He used to be all the rage. Idiots around here had the Rush for Pres bumper stickers and the Rush is Right stickers. Now you'll never see one and hardly hear his name mentioned.

I think Trump is so freaking out of his mind NUTS that the RW base doesn't need crazy asshats like Rush anymore.
