Wonkette-Jill Stein Robbed You Suckers Blind
Jill Stein is not a trustworthy person. I refused to contribute to her efforts and it turns out that this was the wise move https://wonkette.com/634591/jill-stein-robbed-you-suckers-blind
Drum roll, please, as we now go live to the Internets to learn how this recount booty was spent.
Ongoing litigation, travel costs, and staff salaries are also likely to eat up whatever is left [of the $7 million raised for a recount], meaning those who donated to Stein are unlikely to receive a once-promised chance to vote on how the post-recount money would be spent. Nor have donors been given much of a window into how Stein is actually spending their donations. Read more at https://wonkette.com/634591/jill-stein-robbed-you-suckers-blind#FdrZk4e1Zi6jUD5r.99

2. Rec'd because I was one of those suckers.
I contributed to her effort to find out what happened after the election. Didn't see her as a viable candidate, but she was the first out of the gates to call for an investigation.
Now I wonder if she ever had any real intention to investigate, or was she planning to profit from the emotional outrage that we were all feeling at that time. |

3. Me too...
I would have paid a king's ransom to not have the fucking moron get inaugurated. I still would too, even if I had a king's ransom that is.

5. Still have a John Edwards T-shirt in a drawer somewhere.
I once cast a vote for Dennis Kucinich as well. We all have our off days, I suppose.

6. Erm, I'm two for two.
I even donated to the Clinton campaign in the days before the election. Three for three. Obama is the only one who ever made it through with the dark curse of my donations. LOL.

7. Same. I donated $1K (a massive amount for me) to John Edward's campaign in 2004.
I also talked him up to family members, got them to contribute, too. We all went to see John Edward speak— twice. He was just too perfect...back then.
But today, I feel like a genuine chump for incorrectly measuring that man’s (lack of) character. |

13. I did, as well, although it's not quite the same.
I believe that Edwards was sincere with his "2 Americas" message. He was mostly just a shitty husband, who made terrible decisions, because he thought with his penis, rather than with his brain. I think he actually wanted to try to make the country better for everyone, even if he was a scumbag of a human being. I don't think he was an outright fraud like Stein is. She had no intention of pushing for a recount. She just saw a bunch of desperate people, and she took advantage of them. Edwards, at least, had his record as a US Senator to back him up. He was a pretty good Senator, IIRC.

11. Anyone could tell it was obvious that the recount couldn't possiby succeed
She had no hope of overturning one state, much less all three. She played people she knew would be foolish and gullible enough to give her money. Most likely using much of it to either enrich herself or undermine Democrats.

22. I volunteer a great deal of time on voter protection issues
I was part of the Clinton Victory Counsel program. Marc Elias is a great election law attorney and if there was a chance in a recount, he would have filed one and raised the money. It was clear to me that a recount had no chance

9. Thom Hartman
deemed her a perpetual candidate. Always working on someone elses dime. Think she won an election once as town alderman or something like that. Even Rubes on our side will be rubes.

Think carefully before sending money to Jill Stein allegedly for a recount

15. You and a few others could see from the beginning it was a scam
Unfortunately, so many others begged to be conned. There were so many other useful places for people to donate $$$ like local charities for the poor or animal rescue etc, yet so many decided to send it the Stein instead.

19. "Jill Stein Robbed You Suckers Blind" Is not that
what we've been sayin'?!
stein LIED to get votes.. "Stein actively helped Trump win. It’s not just that she bashed Hillary Clinton, but she argued for Trump repeatedly, claiming the former reality TV star was less likely to get us into a nuclear war than the former Secretary of State and current possessor of a functioning brain stem. Paul Ryan never went that far. I recall an interview Ryan had with Chuck Todd during the campaign that I just made up." https://wonkette.com/634591/jill-stein-robbed-you-suckers-blind#1ZKTMosrd5VZvmLh.99 Thanks, Goth |
