What has happened to Melania Trump?

She hasn't been seen in 22 days.

The tweet sent yesterday from her @flotus account was obviously written by Donald Trump:

Notice the words "media is working overtime". Donald Trump used that exact same phrase a few hours earlier in a tweet, and it is not something that fits Melania's style or cadence. That tweet was written by the Dotard.

Now we find out she isn't going to Camp David this weekend.



My personal theory? She didn't have "kidney" surgery... she had cosmetic surgery. And she is staying hidden until the swelling/scars go away.

There are other, more nefarious theories. She has fled to NYC with Barron and is planning to divorce..... or she has threatened to go to Mueller with information and is being held captive (think this is far-fetched? Google "Martha Mitchell Watergate" ).

is that either she's had a nervous breakdown or plastic surgery. Or maybe her silicone implants were leaking and had to be replaced. It's not uncommon for those things to need replaced.

The Martha Mitchell theory is interesting to be sure. Her story sounds like fiction, except it isn't. Certainly the tRump/Cohen mobsters are worse people than the Nixon crowd and capable of horrible things. Plastic surgery is a good bet but if that's true, it irks me that we are paying for it - another grift. While I don't like her, I hope she isn't in hiding because she was abused. Nobody has that coming.

Sure, it's pointless to speculate, and there are some who say it's none of our business. But remember, republicans criticized Michelle Obama for wearing a sleeveless dress, and you can only imagine what they would say about a 3-week absence.

So, maybe it is our business, largely because it's our taxpayer dollars paying for her security and also because she is, like it or not, a very public figure, and remaining in the shadows is not an option at this point. She could have laid this foundation on day one. After all, she's certainly no Michelle Obama (or even Laura Bush, and definitely not Hillary Clinton). But having stepped into the public eye during the campaign and then as first lady, she can't drop out now without explanation.

23. I have no doubt she had some sort of plastic surgery. And I have absolutely no problem with that.

I had a 'procedure' done about 15 years ago. I was in a bad car accident (face hit the steering wheel) about 20 years prior and it left my nose crooked and left a few scars on my forehead and near my mouth.

My surgeon (and one of his nurses who had a similar operation) told me that it would take about 2 weeks to heal. I planned to be out of the office for those 2 weeks, thinking I would come back looking 'normal'.

BIG SURPRISE: Not everyone heals the same. I was still somewhat bruised and swollen, but I went back to work after 2 weeks. A very close male friend at work, who should have known better, screeched when he saw me "You had a face lift!"

I was mortified. I worked from home for another week until the swelling went down.

Granted, I am no former model, and she is lovely without any additional work, but I have no problem with anyone who wants to improve his/her self image for WHATEVER REASON.

And it is perfectly reasonable that she wouldn't want to be seen in public while she is recovering. She would be roasted if she were to show up with visible swelling and bruising. The bad jokes practically write themselves.

She is still a horrible person for promoting the Obama birther bullshit, but I won't slam her too much for having some work done.

She is completely pissed about the porn star boning incident. They are on their way to a divorce anyway because she is beyond the misogynist in chief's shelf date.
