This is the guy who ran over a black man and laughed that he killed "some nigger." Matthew Martin, 18, from Louisiana struck Sherell Lewis on the highway in Vernon Parish. Lewis had stopped his car on the shoulder to move debris out the way when he was hit by Martin's truck. Lewis was 31 when he died.

Screenshots of a Snapchat conversation are circulating online, which appear to show Martin laughing about the incident. A friend says: "it'll buff out," referring to Martin's dented Chevy and then asks: "The guy die on impact or what." Martin responds: "yes sir 😂 no he died otw to the hospital."

It’s very rare for a vehicular manslaughter or similar charge to be filed immediately or an arrest tone made immediately because they need to do the accident reconstruction work to make a judgement on if it truly was an accident or negligence was involved.

I’ve seen charges not come for 1-6 months in cases like this.

Instead of reacting like someone with a good heart etc would actually react — which would be to express shock and sorrow that such a tragic event occurred— he shared photos of his damaged car (and keep in mind that damage was caused when he killed Mr. Lewis) and joked with a friend that he had JUST KILLED “some” n word. That is sociopathic inhumanity and dehumanization. Those words weren’t “twisted” at all — they reflect his twisted core perfectly.

This victimization shit is disgusting — again where is the sympathy for Mr. Lewis, who is dead?! We are seeing this so often — they cry that it wasn’t what Martin said, oh no, it is the evil people out there “twisting his words,” and he is really a great guy despite his words AND actions. No. His actions speak as loudly as his words. He killed another human being with his car (and whether or not that was an accident given his hateful speech needs to be investigated!). He called the human being he murdered an appalling racial slur (he didn’t even say “some guy” or “don’t know” — he chose to employ a degrading racial slur). He shared photos of his car to bitch about the damage the human being that he killed caused to his car.

That says everything we need to know about Mr. Martin. He is twisted — that is clear.
