Plus how he did it to Ted Kennedy and there are other juicy morsels.

(129,360 posts)after claiming while running for Governor, that he had "paid" both Utah and Massachusetts taxes as a resident of both states.
I.e., he apparently WASN'T legally a resident of MA, which is what was required to run for office and he "fixed" that by retroactively filing taxes in MA.

Unreal.

(129,360 posts)he was a chameleon - a social moderate/"librul" rethug (pro-choice, state-run healthcare, pro-gun control) as governor, so they probably didn't care much about what he had done to get elected. Now, the wolf in sheep's clothing from 2002, has officially established his pathological liar street cred.

(21,925 posts)with aggressive words like "put up or shut up" and very similar behavior several years ago when he did a Clint Eastwood imitation: "make my day". He's well rehearsed on this issue and you can bet he planned in advance to prepare his 2010 return for the election so it wouldn't look as bad as previous ones.

(546 posts)The report makes the case that there are compelling logical reasons for the public to see Romney's tax returns. However, Romney can still point to the fact that despite all the etch-a-sketch revisionism about his residency in Massachusetts, he was allowed to run, and won.
The report did not make the case that there are compelling political reasons for Romney to make them available. Reid's statement is still based on hearsay and lacks leverage.
If this report had also given some additional evidence backing Reid, then it might have had an enormous impact.
The report is over and the story goes on.

(21,925 posts)look them in the eyes and tell them what he knows and how he knows it. If he's as "extremely" credible as Reid contends, the ball will most definitely be in Mittens' court if it already isn't there now.
