Picture of Olympic-sized legs (no spoilers)

These are the legs of German cyclists Andre Greipel and Robert Forsterman.

Damn! How does he even get his briefs on?

it was the angle at which the photo was taken.

It wasn't just the huge thighs, but that they looked so asymmetrical. It looks bizarre.

Edit to add: The fellow on the left in the photo has one normal looking thigh.

I noticed that as well. Looks grotesque, doesn't it, almost like Elephantiasis.

7. Greipel's a sprinter. But Forstermann is freaky track sprinter.

I have to say I'm surprised to see the thighs of track sprinter. I've been an avid cyclist for nearly 40 years. I've got some good thighs for a 135 pound rider. I'm not in the class of Greipel. I've raced with Levi Leipheimer, and have matched his pace just recently. But only for a two hour period. The track thighs are really revealing. I've always wanted to see them up close. Yuck.

...one of the commentators was talking about the size of his calves, saying if you ever see him wearing long trousers it looks like he's smuggling chickens!

Speed-skaters keep fit by cycling in any case. Most athletes in other sports aren't allowed to cycle (or ski for that matter) I think, for fear of picking up an injury.
