It makes my heart hurt so much. The loss of Anthony Bourdain is tragic, the humanity of a man like President Obama who is now only a private citizen makes me fear for the future.

(118,777 posts)3. I'm going through mini stages of grief. Shock when I saw it on the
morning news Friday. Tossing and turning and could not sleep. Then denial. Now anger at his poor family and friends, in particular his daughter. Weird how you don't quite know what someone on the tv means to you until they are gone. I had mentioned how looking forward I was to the next 150 countries he was going to do a few weeks ago. I can't think about him being replaced right now. Not there yet. So sad. So sad.
