I agree. After the 2016 election, there is no reason for anyone going 6 years without voting.

Heck, in most states, one can do it early or even by mail.

Conservative voters - the vote for Satan himself if he were on the GOP slate - have historically been more likely than more liberal ones to turnout for non-presidential elections.

... the fact of an election.
