Sure Obama is better than Romney.... but the planet
and this nation's LOVE of capitalism that is equated
with Corporatism has got to the point that it endangers the planet let alone this nation

After the Copenhagen meeting ..... I realized
They don't care, and yes Obama disappointed once again
but he is a prisoner he the system that precooked him
Let me clear.... we are lucky to have him.


I'm lucky or not that I can sit away and observe the US
through eyes that are not blinded by the usual noise.


I miss the great writers we use to have here, I still have one great truth teller and that' Octafish and a handful of others...

I think this planet is in real crisis that are so real and painful that a chicken dinner is a distraction as compared to the melting icecaps, military industrial complex, falling infrastructures. and the executions of major life forms because of our inactions and apathy.

The many years here at DU have taken me on a course in the search of truth, no matter where it took me.
The truth is painful sometimes when it destroys
paradigms and deny the reality that you conceive were true that were a foundation of trust in the system.

I and the planet used to look for leadership for this planet with the USut it sold out to corporations and the world knows that.

They saw the change, they know that.

Dignity.... you know that the budget for NASA and education, and leadership in human rights was what gave us DIGNITY. I search for dignity for all human beings was given to us by many great Americans, that the rest of world tried to follow, or excel at.

South Africa, the US and apartheid woke me up
as did Chile. But those are distant warnings that I didn't want to believe and came back and said.... things are fucked up.

We need an economic system that gives dignity
to all humans and this planet..... I warned of the meltdown on DU in 2006 after following the Bank repay on loans and housing. every day......I posted that in LBNs



I and others do have knowledge of things that might work
for humanity but not without

DIGNITY.
