One excellent interview after another. Always well prepared and with astute follow up questions.

He takes risks and not reliance on soliloquy.

Tremendous variety tonight, from a GOP congressman to Arpaio to John Podesta.

Instead of a long winded windup followed by the same pitch over and over again, squeezing 15 minutes of material into an hour, Cuomo packs at least double the content of the typical political show.

9 PM is now essentially a glorified walkover

I often have mixed feelings about him but tonight he brought up the one point we all know but few will talk about... Those who employ those who come for a better life. Those people are just as much to blame as anyone for those that feel the need to place blame. They are always left out of the discussion and he put it out there and worried it like a dog with a bone.

12. The AZ Republican Senate Primary: a microcosm of GOP insanity

It's scary that Martha McSally is, by far, the least offensive of the 3 Republicans seeking the nomination. And she probably wouldn't stand a chance if there was just 1 other Republican (either Ward or Arpaio) in the running. As is, the polls taken back in April have McSally with a very slim lead.

Post-Trump, the GOP will remain a batshit crazy party. We must guard against the post-Trump narrative that suggests all is well and back to normal.
