He feels as if he's been isolated.

Notice how today when BLOTUS was asked about Cohen he said he, "always LIKED him". (used past tense)

And when BLOTUS was asked if he was still his lawyer, he said, "No, he's not my lawyer".

Sing Michael! Sing a long and pretty song!

Shredded documents from cohens office will be finished being put back together and then introduced into evidence in the case against him.

The last nail in the coffin?, I sure hope so.

Looks like it's going to be an interesting time in DC in the next week or so.

he didn't have time before the FEDS were coming in the door!

Avenatti said Cohen was too cheap and too stupid not to buy the BEST cross-cut shredder out there!

The way I figure it, if it's in the shredder, that's 'cuz you DON'T want anyone looking at it. Should be a top priority for investigators, right?

The FEDS have computer programs that can piece it all back together. I heard they're almost done!

Sucks to be you, Michael. (Is it wrong of me to be smiling )

Oh and btw, reports are that he looks terrible. He's not sleeping, he's not eating and both he and his wife have lost over 20 pounds each and that was two weeks ago!

Cohen signals openness to cooperating with federal investigators

(CNN) President Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen has indicated to family and friends he is willing to cooperate with federal investigators to alleviate the pressure on himself and his family, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Cohen has expressed anger with the treatment he has gotten from the President, who has minimized his relationship with Cohen, and comments from the President's lawyer Rudy Giuliani, the source said. The treatment has left him feeling isolated and more open to cooperating, the source said.

Asked by reporters Friday if he was worried about Cohen cooperating, Trump said, "I did nothing wrong, nothing wrong." He also said he hasn't spoken with Cohen "in a long time," adding, "I always liked Michael and he's a good person."

Trump is too cheap and greedy to help on that front.

State charges can't be pardoned.

Cohen is alone and afraid.

Avenatti said all the tough talkers eventually see their looming financial ruin and years in prison, then they all cave.

It's happening.

Hey, even this NON-lawyer knows a little about bargaining and give-and-take. I've been noting all the reports, from more voices than just Avenatti's, about how much this is costing Cohen: all those lawyers - charging what's been estimated as $700-PER-HOUR, and that's the MINIMUM. Those reports cited $1000/hour - or even as high as $1500/hour. And that's for all the lawyers and assistants who have been sifting through all that material searching for items that could be kept from prosecutors because of attorney-client privilege. Work described as round-the-clock.

And meanwhile, Cohen's been working for a boss who doesn't like to pay for services rendered, and is famous for stiffing his contractors and subcontractors. Lucky him, 'eh? Outstanding track record for the guy to whom you've given years of loyal service, mainly getting your own hands dirty so he doesn't have to - the same guy who's now basically saying "Michael Who?"

Yeah, I'd probably start considering singing lessons, too, if I were facing that kind of predicament.

You do the work in good faith and try to do a good job, and not only to please whoever hired you. You do that because it's YOUR reputation. It's YOUR own PR, that you can turn around and show the quality of your work to other prospective bosses. You do that because YOUR name is on YOUR work, and you want it to be the best you can make it - if for no other reason, just because. Just because of pride in your work.

I suspect a lot of trump's subcontractors were eager for a trump job because of how well-known trump-anything was and is. That's a bragging point. That's something that goes up at the top of the list on your resume and your website - "look what we did at trump Tower! Look what we did at this-or-that trump resort or condo property. Your work in a place like that gives you a showcase, especially since trump himself has a reputation for insisting on nothing but the best, and preferably gold-plated at that.

Then trump comes along when you send in your invoice for services rendered and he declares it a substandard job and he won't be paying for it. After YOU put all the work in, bought the materials, hired the other helpers and construction workers and finishers of all kinds in good faith, and covered their expenses - AND you brought your part of the project to completion either on time or maybe even before the agreed-upon deadline. And then you're left holding the bag because he's refused to pay. Despite the fact that you can stand your finished work up to ANYBODY else's inspection and it will pass with flying colors. And then when you object to not being paid, he can just say "so sue me!" And he's got the deep pockets you don't have, so he can wait you out til you give up. Because (as Michael Cohen is undoubtedly discovering) lawyers to fight this on your behalf cost a fucking FORTUNE. AND BESIDES, knowing trump's track record, even if you sue him and win, there's absolutely no guarantee he'll pay up even when the judge's ruling in your favor says he has to.

Most of these poor saps wind up going away. Which is trump's objective in the first place.

I really feel for those subcontractors who got stiffed. You know, in business, your word is your bond. Your word that you keep your part of the bargain - it's your bond. You give your word that you'll pay your bills on time, make at least the minimums on your credit card(s). Your word is your bond. Frankly, I don't know why ANYBODY on earth would want to get into business with trump because his word is shit. His word doesn't mean anything. He lies like the rest of us breathe. He's fucking FAMOUS for lying by now. He's so famous for lying that he's got the New York Times and other credible and established reportorial outfits AND people are keeping a running tally of his many many lies by now.

Seriously. Would YOU want to trust him on anything? Would YOU really want to get into business with a "partner" like him? Would YOU want to take that risk, with YOUR OWN reputation on the line? Hell, I hearing anchors and reporters ROUTINELY using the "L-word" about trump now. Craig Melvin on MSNBC just did, a few minutes ago, before the commercial break, teasing about what trump just said this morning about Kim Jong-un ("He riffed, he lied, he made some jaw-dropping claims..." ).

Many of my friends when they went to get paid fought like heck to get paid by clients and it was hard for them to put up w/ this, being that they had bills to pay and so forth. You put it very well how ill treated these workers / contractors / subcontractors are treated, and then it takes forever to get paid, if you ever get paid, and in the meantime, you are trying to pay your bills, your workers ...

Probably why a lot of them are out of the business now. Too much hassle.

Again, well written!!

Commissioned to create some little detail/embellishment for a client. My husband once briefly worked for a small marketing shop, as a verbal-agreement subcontractor, as a favor to a friend. He was barely paid (WAY low - hey, the boss was a "friend" just doing a nice favor, and so my husband should have been grateful he was getting paid at all), and his ideas were stolen by the boss with no compensation. Except the boss pocketed enough to buy himself a vacation home. Minor stuff in our case. We didn't depend on that for income, and I was still working.

sounded SO awful and outrageous I found it hard to believe that ANYONE could be this big of an asshole, but I believe it now.

It was about a company that catered his wedding (not sure which one). She worked her ass off, everything was perfect, lots of compliments and raves.

Invoice submitted. No check cut.

When she inquired about what was going on, was there a problem, why he wouldn't pay, this is what he told her:
Your pay is the notoriety you're going to get from catering MY wedding. "I'm making you famous now. You catered the wedding of Donald Trump. You'll be in huge demand. You're going to make LOTS of money. That's your pay and you can thank me for it.

Hard to find the words, right?

I don't have to pay you because, for the PRIVILEGE of providing fill-in-the-blank-here service to ME, you can turn around and charge future bosses more money. So I don't owe you a nickel (you really oughta be paying ME for such a magnificent privilege).

Look at Manafort.

And btw, whatever happened to Trump's subpoena? That dropped off the radar.
