The moderates had decent intentions. Force a vote and get a vote on a moderate bill

Spineless Ryan played it well and suppressed the moderates' "insurrection" by offering some incentives to reps on the fence about signing onto the discharge petition. The moderates couldn't get the votes.

The alternative bill that came from "leadership" was a little more moderate than the Goodlatte bill but not designed to pass but just to give cover to the reps in competitive districts.

Awful f-ers.

It seems to be all I can think about. I feel so helpless. It is the same feeling I had watching people trapped and left to die in New Orleans after Katrina.

And legislators are in the position to do something about the internment camps. Yet they do nothing except quote bible verses.

What has America become?
