Question about Cohen

What is he charged with? One thing, I suspect, is campaign finance for paying Ms. Clifford.

But this is not part of Mueller mandate, is it? Or, is Cohen part of the Russian interference in our elections? Or obstruction of justice?

This is just very confusing for me.

Thanks for any enlightening.

The fight in SDNY is over documents the FBI seized with warrants -- specifically how many of them are covered by attorney client privilege.

It appears to be related to multiple shady financial dealings, some with Trump and some not. Stormy is just a small piece of what must be a huge pie.

The Russia/campaign portion would probably go back to Mueller, but there appears to be a lot that is not campaign related. Cohen knows A LOT of Russians.
